COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 3 PM EDT FRIDAY * WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...In Connecticut, Southern New Haven, Southern Middlesex and Southern New London Counties. In New York, Northwest Suffolk County. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 3 PM EDT Friday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. Localized moderate flooding is possible Friday afternoon with more extensive flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of coastal flooding around the times high tide can be expected through at least the weekend.
