For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Northwest Suffolk County. * WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 11 AM this morning to 3 PM EDT this afternoon. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 4 AM EDT Saturday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. Localized moderate flooding is possible this afternoon with more extensive flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of coastal flooding around the times high tide can be expected through at least the weekend.
